second stages is color. The 1st stage normal is the Apeks DST copy, the Special Edition is the DS4. Essentially the same, but the special edition doesn't have a swivel turret

I just bought the SE hog reg. I like the compactness of it. Not a fan the coating on the metal (it shows scratches easily). The allen key holes are a different size the my Apeks reg. (sucks to carry to keys).
