what size to buy in a henderson semi-dry?

i wear a size 14 gold core and managers of two lds tell me i'd wear a size 12 in a hyperstretch.

on its website, henderson says the semi-dry combines gold core and hyperstretch technology.

so, those of you who have the semi-dry, how does it fit? tight and restrictive? comfy, a joy to wear? did you buy your regular size, or size down?
