What to wear immediately after a dive?

    I suspect the issue is that the swimwear is stuck to our skin so there's no opportunity for air to pass through the fabric. Even the thinnest fabric will take longer to dry if it's right up against your skin verses loose. And if our swimsuits were made of that quick-dry fabric I think we'd be displaying more than some of us would like (and more than some would like to see, in many cases). :giggle:

    Actually, I had a couple of swimsuit coverup dresses that were made out of the lycra/swimsuit material, and they did not cling as much as cotton cover ups. I loved them. A little on the shorter side, but they were great. The only down side is b/c they were shorter (mid thigh to a little higher) you had to wear a bottom. I had these two dresses for 15 yrs before finally deciding they had seen better days lol.

    I love dresses. When I'm in my bathing suit, I will take a huge towel after I've taken off my wetsuit wrap it around me and take off my bathing suit and pull the dress on over topand lose the towel. Growing up on the beach though, it takes some practice!
