Never seen this anywhere but there's plenty at Pulau hantu, Singapore. What kind of coral is this?

I always thought hydroids are those that looks like ferns.... didn't know there are such pretty ones. :) Luckily I didn't get too close to them!

Yes, hydroids have feathery tendrils. But it looks like the critter in your shot does too. While I'm not certain it's a hydroid, I'm pretty sure that it is not a coral. No polyps and the tentacles are all wrong.
