i would think a 3mm full would be plenty warm enough i dive with a 5mm full with a 3mm vest,3mm hood, 5 mm gloves. and 5 mm boots, in 60-68 surface with 45-50 at depth temps in Lake Michigan. When we dove GBI, Port Lucaya area, my wife gets cold very easy and she was comfortable in a 3mm shorty doing 3 dives a day. On the boat have a light jacket as the wind will chill you, even in a full suit. and maybe a pair of sweats. You might even want to use the 2mm if you are used to that temp of water sounds like lake Mich.
