What's the best way to get ask the mods "Is this OK?"

There's a movement afoot in Northern California to raise some money ($2500) through a 501(c)(3) to
do something of interest to the local dive community (Cool 3D map of the bottom topography at
Pt. Lobos). They (I'm only very peripherally involved) would like to post about it in the
Northern California forum (http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/norcal/). What's the best way to
check in with the mods about this?
