Where to go that you can dive on the 25th of December

Hello all,

So this is kinda last minute I know,

This year I am solo for the holidays and was wondering if anyone could recommend a location that I can get away to where up and running during the 25th of December. The only constant I have is time. Was thinking 4 to 5 days max.

On Christmas Day, I can’t recall any resort/island dive-op offering much less than a full schedule.

Your HUGE problem is about to be availability and cost of airfare as well as accommodations. It is last minute and high season.

The holidays falling Sunday/Sunday on the calendar will also make resorts flinch with a 5 day reservation, but if they have any openings, they just might accept it.

yeah, it’s ”kind/a last minute”, kind’a. And traveling from Michigan? Not an easy Caribbean same-day connection.

It's a long flight but Fujairah in the UAE is always an option for Christmas Day diving.

Great Lakes charters stop sometime in October.

A friend was trying to get something last minute in Playa del Carmen and had no luck at reasonable rates. Flights were crazy. Decided not to go this year.

Kauai is open for diving on the 25th, subject only to weather.

As indicated above by @Doc, dive resorts never close. Dec 25 is just another day. For years we did Xmas LOB trips in the Caribbean.

On Bonaire and Roatan things are open, but you may get the B team crew if you are boat diving.
