What we do at our resort is provide FREE use of Kayaks to our guests so they can go snorkeling along the reef whenever they choose.
We have tons of snorkeling not far offshore and you can even kayak to mexico rocks which is not too far away, of course to go to Hol chan you do need to take the boat trip but any other time the kayaks should suffice.
There is a beachhouse right next to my resort that is offering 50% OFF the rental rate which may suit you heres the website www.TheBeachHouseBelize.com we also manage that house so if it did suit you then you could use the resorts kayaks anytime you wish plus have full access to the resorts facilities as well.
