A couple of the previous posts mentioned very slow final ascents. From what I've read on the site, it seems like slower is better.
Suppose I make a Marrioni-style ascent as just described. Is there a benefit in principle to making the final ascent as slow as possible? How about a standard OW ascent with safety stop (no deep stop)?
