The Right Whale is an endandered species which gathers in the Bay of Fundy during the summer. There have been several Right Whales killed by collisions with ships. It seems that the the shipping lanes in the Bay of Fundy run right through the whale's major feeding ground. So, Canada is moving the shipping lanes!

No one told them that they have to. They decided to do it because they didn't want more endangered whales to die.

This is the act of an enlightened state. Thank you Canada for setting a fine example for your behemoth neighbor to the South.
