Will Sea & Sea YS-01 work with Oly C5050 w/PT-015 in Manual/TTL?

Hi,

As title said, will Sea & Sea YS-01 work with Oly C5050 w/PT-015? Camera is probably too old to be listed in their compatibility guilde.

In TTY, I assume since the YS-01 mimics my camera's pre-flash, it should work?

In Manual, I see the YS-01's manual mode only has pre-flash and w/o pre-flash. How can one configure it for the number of pre-flashes? If pre-flash suppression count cannot be customized, I guess I could set the camera in slave flash mode.

setting it in slave mode may be your only option.

I tested the setup above water and the two works fine. No need for slave mode.

I have never heard of a mimic pre flash rig actually being successful with the 5050/PT-015; please keep us informed of your underwater results.
