worth buying a second hand 5050z?

Hi guys,

I am a total novice to underwater photography and is considering getting a 5050z plus housing for 460 USD. used for about 1.4 years. what do I need to check? thanks in advance

I just bought a refurb on eBay for $310 USD and there were other slightly more expensive but less than $460.

you can buy a brand new c7070 for 379.89 and a housing for 174.89 from
http://www.17photo.com/results.asp
i use them for all my photo needs.
the 7070 is the newest in the oly line up in that range of camera
it went from 5050 to 5060 to 7070
I have a 5060 and am considering buying a 7070 and housing and keeping my other cam for a backup.
