I was wondering id the wp-v2 works with the HF s100 and if not does the previous version?

I doubt it. An HFS100 is bigger - esp. almost 1/2" longer. (W X H X D) 2.8 x 2.7 x 5.4in.

An HF200 is (W X H X D) 2.8 x 2.4 x 4.9 in.
The HFM31 is slightly smaller (W x H x D) Approx. 2.7 x 2.4 x 4.8in.

My divebuddy has a WP-V1 - there's not a lot of extra room when closed.

Possibly with a short battery and tray mods it could fit. But the controls probably wouldn't line up correctly then. The critical one being the zoom/tele lever on the top right - the HFS100 has sort of a "grip" on top of a flat area on the right that the HF200/HFM31 doesn't. I think that alone would interfere. Look at the back 3D views on the Canon website to see the differences.

I have the wp v2 housing for my Hf 200 , the only difference between the wp 1 and the wp2 is the Mounting Hole on the bottom black plate ... i had to re drill the Hole and Move the Mounting screw
