WTB: Aluminium Wand/Baton/"Stick"

I'm looking for a place that sells the aluminium wand/baton/stick that is about 10 - 12" long, it is tapered, marked off in inches, etc. I have seen a few divers using them, but can't find any on-line for sale. I want to use it to measure distance for my camera. I have also seen people use it to help steady themselves for shooting, etc. Anyone know who sells such a thing???
