Yap

Hello, I'm just starting planning a trip to Palau. I would also lke to see Yap. How many days would you recommend for Yap?

We went to Yap for 4 days on the way to Palau. Three days of diving. I think 3 days of diving is enough, unless your enamored of mantas.

I really enjoyed the diving in Yap. 3 days is enough if you're just going for mantas, but there's a lot more to see and you could get in more days of good diving - the key is if the op will take you other places.

I agree with the previous replies. Four nights with three days of diving was plenty. Manta Ray Bay Resort was great. Definitely do a tour of the island.

Yap has very good dives but not a lot of choices. The mantas are worth diving with. Hope for rising tides and good visibility. The giant rays came so close to us I was able to stroke one under his fin. For me, two days of full on diving, one day trip to Maap village and on to Palau. Have a great time.
