I got a great deal on both a YS-90TTL Duo and a YS-120TTL Duo. I planned on selling the 120 to help pay for the strobe upgrade, but I'm having second (strobe) thoughts. I did my last trip with the 90 and loved it*, but I'm going to Fiji in June, and want to "be prepared".

I am using an HW adapter*. My thinking is to use the 120 as the wired primary, and the 90 as a wireless slave. Table-tests fire both strobes, but the TTL lamp on the 90 does not light in this configuration. The 90 manual says it supports TTL in this mode (120 does not).

Has anyone ever tried something like this?

A dual sync cord looks like a nice solution, but it's $150+.

Any thoughts and suggestions are much appreciated.
