I'll get right to the point.

Why did you discontinue the 27DX?
I have one and it is a great strobe, powerful, easy to use, has pre-flash over-ride for cameras like the Canon G10 in "M" mode. Probably the best strobe for the money on the market

Why did you market the YS17TTL?
It has no pre-flash over-ride, has less coverage than the 27DX, less power with only 2 AA bats, only 2 manual settings. IMHO a useless strobe for the money.

You now have no mid-price range product between the 17TTL and the 110 alpha?

HI Gilligan-
2 new strobes have been announced at DEMA in Orlando - they both will fill in the mid-price range of the strobe line (between the YS-17 and YS-110a) and some of the features overlapped with the YS-27 and alleviated some of the issues of the YS-17. So, the YS-01 and YS-02 will be available in the spring of 2010. Product information will be updated as it becomes available.
