So, I have had this strobe for 4 months and have not gotten a chance to get it wet. (quarry diving viz non-existant in the summer and bad weather for ocean trips). Any advice or helpful hints. I plan on diving with it on Saturday

Seriously, what camera, what lens, what housing?

Why the Z240? Are you TTL hard wired?
