Nice and warm now ha ha ha water temps 31C, however, the water was rather choppy on the surface with a South Westerly blowing.

I think the seahorses were taking cover, I couldn't find one today, even in the usual places.

I did find several Armina sp. nudis munching on sea pens though

More luck with the seahorses today, 7 in total plus quite a few nudis. Water temps much nicer than on the east coast, a balmy 31C, and had a very relaxed 2 hour dive with two friends Philippe and Chris.

A nice long two-hour dive this morning, which nearly didn't happen as someone wanted to join me but didn't make it on time. The tide waits for no man, or in this case a woman

My plan is always around slack tide +/- one hour, plus it's springs so I ended up going solo with my snoot.

Found three seahorses and several nudis again

I couldn't find the Carminodoris pustulata last Sunday, but spent more time looking in the weedy area at the ridge and noticed the gills sticking out.

At one point it flashed me 🤣

Water temps now 32C 😅

Excellent early morning dive yesterday with some key buddies.

Six seahorses spotted and quite a few nudis too. Water temp 32C.

Five seahorses this morning at the Bridge.

Took me 28 mins to find the first one and the second was only about meter away.

140 min dive and water now 33C

Two extremes of colour variation.

34C water temp this morning 😓

A few additional people at the Bridge this morning so me and my buddies changed our plan. It wasn't too busy though. Vis was pretty crap though.

Playing with my snoot again

Also found some new species to add to the list for this area, Kabeiro rubrolineata rubroreticulata

Many of them in the hydroids.

Edited to change the species name the above nudi.

144 min dive this morning, slightly later start then an early lunch before going home to wash my gear and fell asleep.

Five seahorses.

This one was really difficult to spot
