Last year for our AOW class we needed to load 10 tanks, all our gear (wife and me), plus clothes and food for a weekend at Lake Tahoe. At the time we owned three motorcycles, a Mazda 6, and a Plymouth Van. Well, the van had over 130k miles on it and was acting unreliable. We didn't want to lose the weekend so we loaded everything in the Mazda. Can you sing "Low.....Ry.........der". We were riding on the rubber bumpers.

After that weekend we went and bought a 2007 Nissan Frontier LE 4x4. When you gotta buy a truck for your hobby, scuba gets expensive! Never bothered to take a pic of the truck loaded.

haha Love it. :)

Partially packed:

doubles in the back (stacked if necessary). Gear bins on top of those. 2 stages at most in the back, up to 4 stages upright in one-half of the backseat standing upright and bungeed together. X-tables on the other half of the backseat. with scooters standing nose-down on the seat itself.

Were you at Lobos today (Sat)? Dan (dannobee) and I went over after trying to dive with Dave at the Shale beds but were not impressed with the 1-2' foot viz!! Thought we saw Team Kitty's car!

Here's out Dive-Mobile. :) This is with only one set of gear, so it's nice and roomy. With two sets, as normal, it is a bit more crowded. Add a BBQ and other odds and ends and its bursting at the seams!

Here we are: The back of the Element loaded for both doubles dives and an HP100 along for the ride (not my usual packing, since it's usually one or the other):

Beach dives, needless to say... for boats I have to consolidate more since I can't bring quite as much stuff. Only have to fold one seat down... and if I really wanted, I could probably leave both seats down if I wanted to stack higher, but this way is easier.

Well, here's my Tacoma packed up... it's just my gear, but I have four movable cleats that I can position anywhere along the bedrails... so I could potentially add more tanks.

Nice setup

One of these days I'm going to get a bed cover (I like this kind).

Well fella's/gal's.... I am no longer going to try to create a tank rack for my Tribute. I just acquired a "scuba" van. A friend of mine got this from his family really cheap to fix up (a few minor things - I hope) for his new family but, decided he didn't have the time or money to work on it. I picked it up really cheap and with the few things wrong with it (that I know of so far) it should be less than 400.00 to get it going. Ohh it's a 91 Dodge Caravan. I've looked up parts for it and it seems "cheap"... :) I'll get pictures of it this week after I pick it up and back to the house.
