I've finially experienced my first stinky booties.

It was like something died in them. It hurt to smell them. It stung my roommates eyes.

I still don't understand why he smelled them when I held them up and yelled, "Hey! Come and smell this!"

My question is why the booties have a different funk than other gear funk?

Probably because the smaller opening doesn't allow as much air circulation to dissapate any unpleasant odors as efficiently.
