cocoajoe, Skittl1321--To be honest you guys don't know what you're talking about. Some people like myself are prone to serious cramping--once I cramped in both arms & legs at the same time on the same dive. A severe cramp in one leg can easily end a dive ASAP. Potassium pills cut my cramping by 80%.

The op didn't specify what king of cramp it was: simple or full body like yours. Most divers who get cramps get them in one particular muscle. I've had cramps (charlie horses and foot) and been able to work them out on my own. I've also had help from my buddy. In your case I understand that could end the dive. Assuming that is not the case I would think a highly trained professional can work it out and finish the dive. Regardless, the op should have received a partial refund for DM services on the first dive and a full refund on the second.

For those who have said he shouldn't have paid for it to begin with, you pay for the dive and any and all services up front.

Right. And in my case it is usually one leg, usually in the thigh. I have developed methods to relieve a severe cramp there and also ways to finish the dive if not successful (more than just the usual grab fin tip method taught in OW).

And still no consensus . . .

It's about time to start talking about the metric system...

I'm against it.

Is it?

For those of you who use the metric system:
Does your computer give you the depth to tenths of a meter or whole meters?
When doing calculations do you use or require precision to tenths of a meter?
