After a grueling two and a half week surface interval Merry and I got back in the water today. We were blown out yesterday but it was flat calm today. Visibility was twelve to fifteen feet on the west side of Palos Verdes. We made a dive at Golf Ball Reef followed by an exploratory dive on a small reef we metered earlier. It was a typical westside reef with garibaldis, short lobsters and not much else. The only highlight was seeing four giant sea bass swim past the reef. Water was a warm 61°.
