Last weekend we enjoyed blue water at Golf Ball Reef. It was one of those great Southern California Winter days. Today, Spring arrived early. We had green, plankton-filled water with choppy seas. Visibility had dropped to half of what it was less than a week ago. Life is still sparse on the reef. We've been hoping for the water to cool off but it was still 61°.

We have at least two seasons. You can tell when fire season is over when CalFire crews can take vacation.

On a happier note, we also have harvest season in Wine Country.

I saw something yesterday I've never seen before, and can't figure out if it was a nudi or a sea hare or ? @MaxBottomtime can you help here ? It was about the size and shape of a Bisquick Bisuit, or hickey puck, tan/sand color with mild patterns/spots, 2 antennae. Saw a handful of these, some solo scooting across the floor, and some appeared to be mating. Help, it's bothering me lol ! Thanks !

Catalina Island, Arrow Point/Cove, on the sandy slope there, between 60 and 90 feet. There were en masse, along with a graveyard of Squid Sex Participants. @MaxBottomtime , sorry I thought I included the location on prior post. Thanks again !
