Just compare their models :)
I saw regulators with WMD trademark selling by others.
All ODS models is the same as WMD. WMD has more wide product line than ODS.
Just compare 1st stages range:
ODS vs W.M.D-1st Stage Regulator

they are separate manufacturers, I promise. They have a lot of near identical products, but ODS is machining their own. @cerich knows both manufacturers quite well and can verify

I think they are both knocking-off the same manufacturers. If two companies are copying the same regulator then they are bound to be very similar.

WMD used to supply ODS with parts, then went into making stuff for them to sell.

When that happened the lines were pretty much identical (go figure eh)

Since then both have evolved and changed and neither are only doing knock offs. In fact I know that ODS hates doing knock offs but many of their customers want knock offs. True story, their second stage RG11 was their worst selling reg until I made some improvements on it and sold with HOG, now it is by far their best selling and is sold with about a dozen brands logo on it. Nobody has the exclusive rights to it but some have their own molds for the front cover that are exclusive and then Deep 6 has our exclusive Turbine poppet.

First stages you'll see the Hog D3 and Deep 6 signature are very similar, that would be a me thing. You'll also see nobody else has it and it isn't a "knock off" of any reg on the market. Did some features get inspired by other regs, of course.

Hey Chris, I wasn't commenting on either HOG or Deep6 but rather on the links that the poster from Russia (Sorry I do not know how to get Cyrillic on my keyboard) provided. From what I remember WMD had copies of Apeks DST and FSR, newer AL Titan, SP Mk-2, and what looked like either a MK-25 or Atomics piston, and I think a few that looked like older Zeagles. The ODS line was smaller but did have a DST and DS4 look-alike and something that looked like a Mares or Cressi.

I do understand you can get customization but at a price. Especially for small runs.
