I mainly use the Piranha Torpedo fins (Fins) with spring straps although I have a set of "longer" Oceanic Vypers as an option as well. Have gotten good use out of both sets of fins.

My wife did a few laps in the pool and said it's too much fin for her, had to return it. :( On the plus side it got her doing laps in swim fins: in those few laps she felt every muscle that needs conditioning for fin swimming.
Did she try the soft bladed version or the hard bladed one?

I landed on Dive Rite XTs and like them very much. I've been diving them for about 5 years now. Spend most of my time frog kicking but also flutter, helicopter, back kick.

SB. We're the same fin size (I've narrow feet and go a size/size and a half smaller with ortholite inserts in the booties) and if they were HB I'd've kept them for myself.
