Yes, Palau is one of our favourite diving destinations , and, I echo the fact that it is spectacular for the the "big stuff". Liveaboards still make the best platforms .

We are diving in Sipadan in Sept. We booked quite some months ago to ensure reservation. You might be lucky, but, it tends to get booked up early.

Thanks LesleyDSO, I guess, this is the most probable reason. It just seemed strange that it was OK previously and then on this trip ut started giving the low readings. You're right, of course, as long as you know what it's doing it'ts not a problem in that sense.

Yes, spg's the same. Temp influence the same. One corelates with the spg, but, the other not. I must admit it baffles me.

Hi Gozomutti, My observation on Red Sea has got to be a Liveaboard in Southern Red Sea/Sudan. Sharm and Hourghada are closest to us for warm immersions, but, myriad vessels with divers is not our kind of diving.
