Conditions have been kinda sucky, but we got out a couple of times, including a real nice day to get around the point to Carmel on Xmas eve. Had excellent vis, so I played with wide angle settings, dropping shutter speed all the way down to 30 to get more ambient light for backgrounds. Here are a few miscellaneous that came out OK this month.

The inevitable Gopher Rockfish

A Sea Butterfly-somewhat out of focus, but the best I've had of one of these.

A view of our boat we seldom get in Monterey's generally green waters.

Nice pics!

Cool pics Larry - great job on the lighting of the WA stuff.

Thanks David and Andy! Here are a couple of topside shots, also from Carmel on the 24th. We followed a pod of Risso Dolphins on our surface interval.

The building in the background is the clubhouse at Pebble Beach Country Club. Stillwater cove, where we did our second dive is right on the 17th fairway.

Off Point Lobos, where we first spotted them, right after our first dive.

Amazing, would be cool to see them underwater on a dive.
Lucky encounter just the same.

Nice shots! I particularly like the fringehead one.

Wonderful stuff Larry!!! Glad to see you're back in the water. Loved the fringehead (you got him on a very bad hair day :)), the wide-angle shot with the Tealia anemones, and of course the fabulous images of the Risso dolphins. Thanks!!!!!!!

Oh, the jumping dolphin pictures are fabulous!

Wow... blue water in NorCal. I like the anemone shot. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Don, Ken, Lynne & Max.
