I recently found an 8 year collection of Skin Diver magazines in my family storage- ranging from 1995-2002. Some years are FULL year collections. Some years are missing from 1 to a few in the collection. Most are in VERY GOOD condition, others have a range of wear from minor wear on the binding to a couple having tears in the covers (much more rare).

What do I do with them!?

Are there any diver's out there interested in acquiring a collection such as this? Or is this not worth the postage it would cost to ship it, and I should just toss it?

I recently found myself in a similar situation.

I had a variety of magazines of different but related themes.

Since I have an active account on eBay, I went there first.

You can ship a twelve magazine year in a Flat Rate box for $16.50.

Was relatively successful as I found one buyer who wanted multiple years.

Good Luck!

Could you possibly donate it somewhere locally to (hopefully) introduce some new people to diving? I’m thinking of a library or YMCA or similar? I think that introducing someone to the great world of scuba might bring the most value in the long run.

That is a really good idea. I'll call around and see.

I'll definitely look into that. I wanted to look around and see if any collectors maybe wanted to the whole lot first but eBay is a very good idea. Thank you!

I seem to remember a similar thread on here in the past couple of years, where a couple of people on here indicated interest in getting, scanning, and archiving them.
