I'm still using SDM 1.4 (1.40.0.3141) running on XP. I've never had any problems.
Is there any advantage to upgrade?

I upgraded because 1.4 does not support downloads from a D9. IMHO 1.4 was much better than 2.x, which not only is very buggy but is lacking many of the nice features of 1.4

I got a message back from Suunto. 2.1.4 is in beta now and will be available very soon. This is in regards to the SI, Av. Depth and SAC issues.
