I will get in touch with Li Li and ask if the psy. is still around!

Love ambon too, nice shots
we're not lucky with rhinopea, another reason to return next year
hv you heard any Psychedelica sighting recently ?

Here is the response from Li Li ( from Maluku Divers Resort) re: the psy. frogfish.
Anyways, we haven't seen the psychedelic frogfish. I am sure that if it is around, we would have seen it because we now have 4 eagle-eyed dive guides and 2 dive guide trainees to spot them, and we always spend a lot of time in the shallows because the psychedelic frogfish loves to hang out there. But if it appears again, you'd be sure to hear it from us at Facebook!

I love maluku. The owner told us this last winter that he suspects the
psychedelic frogfish is a very deep living one that may only come up to spawn, hence the infrequent sightings.

I love Ambon and could spend much of my time in the harbor area.
