I'm going to be staying in Playa del Carmen for 3 weeks next year. From like July 24th til August 15th or something like that. There will most likely be 5 of us. Anyone know a nice cheap place to rent?
Suggestions on dive shops and places to dive are welcome as well.
Thanks a bunch!

I've been using Dive Mike for about 4 years now. He's very professional, has a good staff of both Mexican and European dive masters. He can also facilitate Cenote diving (a must if you've never been). I always do the Centote as my last dive, as it's fresh water and provides a good rinse for my gear. Dive Mike is located 1/2 block between the ocean and 5th ave (the main drag of playa). As far as dive sites, my favorite are (sorry if I don't spell them right): Jardenes, Tortuga, Mulche, Mulche Profundo. The diving isn't as nice as Cozumel, but it's still awesome. If going to Cozumel (how can you NOT go, as the ferry is right in Playa), use Dimi Divers...they're great...and don't forget to hang out on the upper deck of the boat. Oh yeah, want a good meal? Try Medio Luna (I think that's how its spelled). Awesome food.
