Just bought an Atom 3.1 and have gone through the manual and am working my way through the training modules. So far, I haven't seen where the Atom 3.1 differentiates between salt and fresh water. I'm diving a lake this weekend (about 800 ft altitude) and want to ensure I've got the right settings.
I know enough not to be too worried about the differences in this weekend's dive since it'll be a very conservative dive due to other factors and that nitrogen loading is related to partial pressures so while the computer will under estimate the depth, it's the pressure that matters, not the actual depth value.
So trying to figure this out more for accuracy than safety.

Just a few more days and then ... Under the sea!
