Yeah, you guys continue to be inspirational!
Quick dive report: we got five dives in over the weekend at Stradbroke island, around flat and shag rock. The heavy 35km/hr winds on Friday dropped down to 7 or so on Saturday, and Sunday was a millpond. Water temp 19-21 degs. Comfy! Vis was generally excellent. The mantas are beginning to arrive (there are two around at present) and shark alley was spectacular - some very big boys around (15-20 in the trench on Sunday and two of them as large as you are likely to see). The nursery at flat rock on Sunday was like an aquarium. Whales and quite a few dolphins around. I didn't video anything - just wanted to be really relaxed and present. I broke my SAC record as a result, which was gratifying! Air consumption is an important metric for me, as I'm often the one limiting my buddy and my dive times, but on Sunday's final dive I had the best consumption of the group by a ways, which I'm really pleased with
