Dude, you were diving Nitrox at a depth of 175 feet????

Everybody seems to be doing it these days :D

Depends what you mean by nitrox. 25% has a PO2 of 1.57 at 175 feet. Higher than ideal but OK for a few minutes so long as you are not working hard

Sorry for the general comment, should have been more specific.

Did the deep dives with a travel mix of 30%, switching to 23% at
around 120ft. Deco on the line was 40%.

Safer than doing it on Eanx 21, wouldn't you agree?

BTW these dives were done late in the week, after an excellent series of deeper dives.

I welcome constructive comments, but assumptions can sometimes lead to unnecessary condemnation without knowing the facts.
I concede that a more specific explanation of the mix used may, in this case, have avoided the harsh judgements.
Hope I have clarified things for you guys.

Thanks for the explaination! Sorry for being too judgemental. I kinda thought deep down you must have known what you were doing having posted the comments afterward.

Hey, I'm looking forward to my trip there very soon as well.
Cheers, safe diving.
