How do you dive BHB? You do it slowly :).

We usually enter 1 hour prior to HT and stay under 1 hour after HT. We head out towards the snorkel trail area for 30 or so minutes and then head for one of the bridges. This allows us to avoid the bridges when the currents are strongest. At or near HT, the current slows, stops, and reverses.

only park in real parking spaces....the police love to ticket at this park....so get there early.

Hello all,
how does the forecast look for Saturday?

HT at 11? I need a dive buddy!!! Is there a beach that people lay out on? My wife doesn't want to dive this time around and wants to lay out. Or... not really?

Spaceman, yes there is a beach she can go on. A number of homeless folks sometimes are around drinking "40 year old scotch" but she'll be OK

^^^ That's awesome. I did a night dive last Monday at the BHB, and when we were coming out of the water there was a man sitting in a lawn chair in the surf. He starts telling us how he was drinking 20 year old gin.
