Just as a thought, if you post the Website or start another thread with contact #'s and such we might get enough people together to make the county aware of our plight and issue a variance on access:shakehead

Does anyone know the nearest place to park that's OUTSIDE the park?
I'm thinking that if one person drove the rest in, and dropped their gear at the same time, then went to the parking place outside the park and jogged back in.....

Hi all;
We have dove there at least a dozen times, both day and at nite. We have done midnight and 4 am dives there. (when ever high tide is) We has always parked right by the steps, on the road. Might have to side step around a person sleeping in the sand, or some one peeing by the wall. Kind of spooky, but the diving, always over whelmed us
. One time we did park in the lot by the west end. And when we got out around 1 am. we were greeted by the cops. He was nice about it, but warned us about all the bacteria in the water 
. That night there was so many fishermen (drunks?) on the east side. We didn't know if we could swim by with getting snagged.

Michael, it would be better yet if the driver was a non-diver who could watch the cars!!! I've heard of all kinds of car break-ins and even car thefts there.
