Tell her to get something cheap, like the DR "deluxe" harness. After she gets some experience with diving a BP/W she'll probably want to switch to the hog style harness; its simply more comfortable while diving for most divers that try both. (That's a guess based on reading these threads for years) At least I find it much more comfortable, and I started with a deluxe-style harness. So let her learn on her own by trying it; whatever she gets now will probably end up in the closet.
One thing, though, I'd avoid anything by OMS for the sole reason that I've read so many horror stories about customer service for that company.
