There was a recent change to the Sunday trading law that legitimized a long-standing practice of allowing smaller convenience stores to remain open on Sundays.
Government lifts Sunday trade restrictions for convenience stores

Stores less than 4000 sqft can now open legally. That still leaves out all the major grocery stores. But....

The Fosters Express market at East End is only 3,500sqft. And the Fosters Bay Market in Camana Bay is even smaller. Not sure if they will start opening Sundays, but it appears that they could.

Thank you, maybe some of the airport shops will be open on Sunday for our rum cake purchases!
