I'd like to spend some time around July in Cabo (or Capo) Verde. Did anyone go there and dive? Any suggestions? Thanx!!

Hi Draco

This is a probably too late response. Anyway, I've been to Cabo Verde (Ilha do Sal) two years ago and enjoyed my diving quite a lot. Good viz, nice dives, lots of life. I've dived with mantadiving center (near Belo/Novo Horizonte hotel), very good people.
Dives I would definitely suggest: Buracona (big cave with a final cone of light); Palmeira - U-tunnel with exits on both ends; Saint. ??? - a sunken boat near the coast shallow - I did a night dive on this one as well; Tchuklassa - a wall, very nice, lots of life, sometimes sharks; Bera de Coral; these are the ones I recall.

I recommend the diving there - no colourful tropical fish, but very nice.

Cheers.
