Hey snowbear,

Thanks for a good post. I was tangled up in some fishing line off of a pier on a training dive(All blackwater). I carry trauma shears and promptly cut what I could off. Entanglement drills are some of the best training someone can do to improve their skill and confidence underwater.

And to think that some people still wonder why I prefer tended diving. :eyebrow:

Nice thing about diving surface supplied with communications is that not only can you get help you have LOTS of time to sort out any problem.


Not to mention you can get surface supplied air quicker too!

I really would have liked to see the contortions that allowed you to manage that! And of course, the critical question -- did you maintain buoyancy AND trim throughout?
