Yes, there are "tree stands" that you start and end each cable run. Each run was 100-200 yards. Note that I did not do the canopy tour ON Roatan, I did it just outside La Cieba near the Pico Bonito park. You can take the ferry from roatan to La Cieba and they will meet you at the ferry port.
