You can also buy it at fishing supply stores. At least you can here in Washington. All the Steelhead fishermen use it for their weights. Try online too.

Ditto. Shock cord is superior to surgical tubing. It's more durable, less irritating to the skin, thinner. Go with the cord.

hmmm, seems I should look into this. I want my equipment to last. Thanks everyone for their help. I never thought trying to get this accessory would be so difficult

I agree that Shock Cord is superior to tubing and I get mine from www.ReefScuba.com or www.Mcmaster.com which is where I get my o-rings and bolt snaps.
