Here's what we want...
- Boat dives directly from the resort
- 36 foot or 46 foot Newton dive boats or similar (big boats, good ladders, giant stride entry)
- Dives that start and end from a moored location (no drift diving)
- Safe drinking water anywhere on the island
- Safe food anywhere on the island (meaning you don't have to worry about what the lettuce and fruit were washed in)

We've done Bonaire, Little Cayman, Cayman Brac and Grand Cayman, which all meet these requirements.

Any other suggestions?

You've already covered our favorite destination, Grand Cayman. We dive with Tortuga Divers and what you describe is exactly what they do. Have you been to the east end of Grand Cayman?

No, but I hear great things about Ocean Frontiers...

Ocean Frontiers has a great setup because they are right there with Compass Pointe and it is a total dive resort. Tortuga is on Morritts property, so access is about the same, but there are a mixed bag of people there. At OF, you're sure to be sitting with divers any time you're at the resort. Plus, they have some newish Newtons.

If going back to Grand Cayman, Compass Pointe/Ocean Frontiers was a place that was extremely well run. As far as the dive op, they take care of everything from the time you check in until the time you check out - made diving process very easy.

Depends what you are looking for and what style dive trip you want. For a full service resort with dive op and boat on site look at lions dive resort and ocean encounters dive op. We have stayed there a couple times and can highly recommend the resort but never dove from there. We do our diving and stays out in wespunt diving with go west. We stay at places nearby and with kitchens. Nos krusero lodging is across the street and you could boat dive every day with go west and also have access to arguably the best shore dive site on the island. All west apt is a two minute drive away and also has its own house reef.

They are on the process of rehabbing a resort on site at gowest but have not heard when that will reopen.

We mostly shore dive on Curacao. Eat breakfast in and one meal out a day.

Hi @ScottsdaleSteve

You might want to take a look at Turquoise Bay, Roatan
We had a very good time there in 2017, the resort has been upgraded since. Very good dive operation, was Subway Watersports, renamed Turquoise Divers. Three dives per day.
