I know there's a dive shop on SB that's on the Caribbean side, but I'd like to hear from some others who have dove it. I know the word in the guide books is that it was decimated by the banana plantations, but I'm curious to see if that's still the case.

I understand the Pacific side has got the larger life, and the conditions are akin to those on the Pacific coast of Mexico, but I am curious about the Caribbean side.

If anyone can offer their impressions I would love to hear them. Thanks

see my post on the Caribe side from the first of the month on the Cheap dive in CR/Panama thread
