Christmas in Cairns

Hey everyone, silly post alert! We'll be arriving in Cairns at around 11:30pm on the 24th (yep Christmas eve) to do some diving over the holidays.

I just wanted to know if there will be cabbies around the airport to take us to our hotel on Christmas eve (I would assume cabbies have families too). I'd like to prepare myself if we need to walk all the way to our hotel

Yes, there will. I arrived there at the same time on Christmas Eve last year.

Mate you cant walk to the hotel from the airport but im pretty sure you were being funny there so ignore me as ive just got back from battling the mall and the brain is shot.
As funny as it would be seeing you run through the mangroves with luggage and crocs, take a cab Black & White Taxi Service 131008 or depending on the hotel your at they might be able to organise a car service for you.
