What's a fo'shilzzle?

It means I know what the fizzuck I'm talking about.

This "HUB" type of set up is very popular at my LDS. I have not used them but 4 out the 6 instructors do. They all like them and they get used everyday. Its not for me. With the above stated reliability should not be an issue.

The Kraken:
I think (and I'm sure I'll be on the receiving end of a flame thrower for this) that most of the divers that ever bought the "HUB" just wanted to look like Space Man Spiff.

It's new, it's avant garde, and it's expensive . . . equates to "It's new, I look cooler than you, I have more discretionary income than you."

What's wrong with SSS?

He's almost as marvelous as Stupendous Man

Thanks for the quick responses.

I did do a search and found nothing. Then I found I had displays to last year, now I know to go beyond one year.

There is one set on ebay with a buy-it-now price for $350. After knowing now the components don't come apart (e.g. cannot take the reg out to use on another system) it doesn't sound interesting any more.

Now it's been explained what a "fo'shilzzle" is, what's the "rule 6 violation"?

I bet you wouldn't wear a HUB even if it made you look like Stupendous Man. :eyebrow:

That's believable. I did a search on 'HUB' and got nothing too. The search engine on Scubaboard sucks. I think saying it's a "piece of "fo'shilzzle"" is accurate also.

The reach engine here only searches for 4 letter words or longer. Try either using a wildcard 'mares hub*' or if that doesnt work (doesnt seem to) then search using Google.

The results for the latter are here and have most of the main HUB posts.

The search engine here also seems to use an 'or' search: in the above example it will return all posts with either 'mares' or 'hub*'.

There is one monster HUB post out there that lived for many many years - happy hunting!

Cheers,
Rohan.
