Hey,wait a minute...i thought using tools to get lobster was illegal. Don't the nj regs say no use of gaffs or something like that? I'm going to florida!

nah, hands rarely work. the moment you move your hands move towards the lobster it is going to check you out and likely dart back in their hole so unless you can corner the lobster....
thats what happens to me anyway, dont know about you all.
Reel Fishaholic:I use hands only also. Grab them down by the knuckle and hang on. As for carrying them, we use large zip ties and put them on our stringers before we dive. As I get a lobster, slide his tail through the loop and pull the tie. Works like a champ. No bags. Size 13 shoe in the background.
robo:I can carry snare or stick, big goody bag, and pole spear or gun with no problem.
robo:At 80 feet with max 25 minutes air time grabbing them by the knuckle will get you a few, but is time consuming.
