I just came back this Sunday (11/19). Ferry was 260 pesos. Bus was 240 pesos. So 500 between the two. I always come home with about 2,000 pesos, so I can hit the ground running next time I arrive. Then when I get to the island I hit the Santander bank (downtown or inside mega) the following day. They let you withdraw 11,000 pesos (enough to pay my landlord and have money for days). I always decline the conversion at the ATM. 4,000 pesos was offered at $250 and after declining was $235 as per my bank after letting my bank do the conversion. I use Capital One debit and credit to avoid transaction or conversion fees.

The value of the Dollar continues to drop. Hold on to those extra peso's.
