Going on a Carnival cruise that stops in Cozumel. I have done this before and have always gone diving through the cruise ship, which means I have gone to the same spot each time. I am thinking about using my own dive op. Has anyone done this? How difficult? Which op to use?

Thanks in advance

I've been to Cozumel on a Royal Caribbean cruise & used Living Underwater, a well-regarded dive op. that I learned of on this forum & had a great experience with (I'm an air hog & they've got 120 cf steel tanks!). Basically, I contacted them & made the arrangements, then after we got off the cruise my little trip took a cab to Caleta Harbor and joined them. Not hard to do.

Richard.

I contacted Living Underwater and they did not respond. Any other suggestions?

Try Blue Angel. We stay/dive with them and they've picked up cruisers several times when Ive been there.
